Janine is originally from Yorkshire, in the North of England and she now resides in Los Angeles. She started dancing at the age of 7 and has been performing ever since!
She became interested in acting and joined S.A.D.S, and after many successful productions with them (including a devised show at the West Yorkshire Playhouse) she was cast in the historical 'York Mystery Plays'. Janine was then offered a place at the prestigious Drama School - 'The Arts Educational School', London. There she studied the techniques of many playwrights including Chekhov, Brecht, Eugene O'Neill, Noel Coward, Pinter, Shakespeare and Mike Leigh.
She has gone on to appear in many successful theatre productions which included Samantha in the comedy 'Forget me Knot' at The Courtyard Theatre, London; Duckling Smith in 'Our Country's Good' at York Theatre Royal, Yorkshire, UK; Mandy in 'Studs' at the Soho Theatre, London; Fabian in 'Twelfth Night' at The Tabard Theatre, London and Nita in 'Red Devils' at The Criterion, London.
Her film credits include Tracy in 'Conversations'; Sam in 'All or Nothing At All'; Karen in 'China in Your Hand''; Trisha in 'Lesson'; Claudia in 'Three and a Half'; Jane in 'The Zombie Enigma' ; Anne-Marie in 'Product of the 80's''; Anna in 'Right Thing' and Candy in 'All Bound Up'.
In August 2007 Janine went to Los Angeles to work with International Acting Coach Bernard Hiller. Whilst there, she studied techniques of The Method Actors Studio, from Lee Strasberg to Sandy Meisner in depth. Guests who attended - Director Gary Marshall (Pretty Woman, Georgia Rule), Producer Mark Harris (Crash, Million Dollar Baby), Casting Directors April Webster (Lost, Star Trek), Debra Aquila (The Shawshank Redemption, Sex, Lies and Video Tapes).
During her time there she filmed 'Pablo' in Las Vegas, taking on the role of Maya. Then back in the UK Janine starred in the feature 'What We Think But Don't Say' as Kate Roberts, directed by Prince Davis. In 2008 she filmed 'The English Language' playing Michelle Robertson. In addition to this she completed 'The Test' with Director Joel Chu at ETC Films. Then in May of 2008 she took the film with ETC Films to Cannes Film Festival.
Janine has now relocated to Los Angeles in preparation for her next film.
Slated for theatrical release in the U.S and the UK in 2012, Janine will take on the role of Sarah Adams who is the lead in romantic comedy 'Let's Just Do It', directed by Gene Fallaize.

Janine has received many awards for her performing excellence over the last couple of years including -The Lilian Baylis Award Winner 2004 - presented at The Old Vic by Brian Daniels (Chief Executive and Artistic Director of The New End Theatre - Picture on the left); The Sir John Gielgud Charitable Trust Bursary 2004; The Lionel Bart Foundation Award 2004 and The Tim Rice Charitable Trust among others.
